Meet the duo behind My Wagging Tail
Meet your pet sitters and dog walkers in Wimbledon Park
Proudly serving pet owners across SW, West and Central London — certified, fully insured and DBS checked

Hello, I’m Ari — Pet Sitter, Certified in Animal Welfare & Behaviour
Growing up in Brazil, I spent my weekends on my family’s farm, surrounded by dogs, horses and a whole range of animals. Being close to them from such an early age taught me to read their routines, respect their personalities, and recognise the patience and consistency they need to truly thrive.
Now in the UK, Alex and I aren’t able to have pets of our own, so we pour that love into every pet we look after. What started as caring for friends’ dogs and cats has grown into a genuine passion — and a profession.
To make sure I offer the highest standard of care, I completed the Animal Welfare and Behaviour course through the University of Edinburgh, covering behaviour, stress signals, body language, welfare standards and emotional needs across species.
Hello, I’m Alex — Pet Sitter & Trainee Dog Trainer
Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I grew up with a variety of pets — from fish and hamsters to cats and dogs — and each one taught me something valuable about patience, empathy and the subtle ways animals communicate.
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong ability to understand their individual personalities, recognise their unique habits, and create an environment where they feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Building trust with animals is something I truly value, and it’s what inspired me to turn my love for them into meaningful, professional pet care.
I’m also currently studying dog training, with the goal of offering structured training support to our clients in the near future — allowing us to provide even more comprehensive care for dog owners in South West, West and Central London.

My Wagging Tail FAQs
Q1: How do I get started?
It all begins with a free Meet & Greet — and it’s as easy as a quick message. Book yours here and we’ll arrange to meet you and your dog at a local park nearby. It’s a chance for us to learn their routine and personality, and for you to ask us anything that’s on your mind.
Once your dates are confirmed, we’ll send over a simple onboarding form (a little profile for your dog) along with your invoice. The form gathers everything we need in writing — including vet details and an emergency contact, just in case. We’ve never needed them, and we hope we never will. 🐾
From there, we’ll set up a WhatsApp group so you’ve got direct access to us anytime in the lead-up to the booking.
Q2: Will I receive updates and photos of my dog?
Absolutely! This is honestly one of our favourite parts of the job! We love taking dogs out to explore new places and capturing beautiful moments along the way. Every photo you see on our website was taken during real visits with our actual furry clients! Both Ari and Alex are also professional photographers, which means your dog gets a little bonus (stunning, heartfelt images that truly capture their personality.) Consider it a gift that comes with every booking. 🐾
From the moment we pick up your dog, we’ll keep you updated through your personal WhatsApp group — real-time updates, a daily report of their adventures, and beautiful photos and videos so you can check in on them and not miss them quite so much. 🐶💛
Q3: Are you fully insured and qualified?
Absolutely. We’re both DBS checked and fully insured by Pet Business Insurance, with training in Pet Sitting Business (The Animal Care College), so your dog and your home are in safe, caring hands from day one.
Ari holds certified qualifications in: Animal Behaviour & Welfare (University of Edinburgh) & Pet First Aid & CPR (Upgrad Teaching Centre). Covering animal behaviour, stress signals, body language, emotional needs, welfare standards, and well, pet first aid and CPR.
Alex is currently completing a professional dog training qualification and is already confidently teaching basic commands and obedience to our clients.
We’re not just animal lovers, we’re certified professionals who take your dog’s wellbeing seriously.
Q4: Do you look after other animals besides dogs?
Our training in Animal Welfare and Behaviour from the University of Edinburgh covers the full spectrum of species — from horses and pigs to cats and dogs — giving us a deep understanding of animal needs across the board. While we specialise in dog care, we’re always happy to pet sit your cat, small pet whenever you need! 🐾
And if you have horses, you’re in luck. Ari is an experienced equestrian who competed in jumping in Brazil and spent years teaching children how to ride. So if your horse needs some extra attention, you’re in very good hands. Just get in touch and we’ll see how we can help.

We believe in being fully transparent so there are no surprises — just clear, honest communication from the start.
