What Pet Owners Say About Us

Drop-in Marco
“Ari and Alex are our neighbours, and I can say with complete confidence that they are absolutely outstanding! Professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about every dog in their care.
Marco is a rescue, and we’ve been working not only to keep him happy and well cared for when I’m out, but also to help him socialise and build confidence.
They don’t just stop by to top up his water and take him out for a quick walk, they really engage with him. There’s playtime, cuddles and genuine attention. They are Marco’s regular dog walkers, and I also use their doggy day care service from time to time.
Always when I arrive home, I find Marco fast asleep, completely tired out after a fun and stimulating day. And every time Marco sees Ari or Alex, he runs straight toward them. Honestly, that says everything!

Drop-in + Walking Lumos
“I could give more than 5 stars if possible. We are so lucky to have found her.
Ari is a big hit with our Cavapoo. He absolutely loves her! Ari has helped us out for overnight care, check ins, walk and food. She is going to be with our dog when we go on holiday too. We are very happy with the way they care for dogs.
We have always returned home to a happy and well settled dog. Ari has always been prompt and detailed with her updates leaving no room for worry. We can actually enjoy our time away because we know our dog is having the best time.
She gives him lots of cuddles, play time and training. I would highly recommend her whether it’s for holiday care, a walk, a check in or overnight sit.

Drop-in FAQs
Everything you need to know about our drop-in pet visits in Wimbledon, SW London and across Central London. If your question isn’t answered below, just message us on WhatsApp
Q1: 1. What is a drop-in visit?
A drop-in visit is a scheduled 60-minute home visit where we look after your pet while you’re out or away. Each visit covers feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks (or litter tray cleaning for cats), playtime, cuddles and medication if needed, all in the comfort of your own home.
It’s the least stressful option for most pets, especially cats and older or anxious dogs, because they stay in their own familiar environment.
Q2: What’s included in every drop-in visit?
Every 60-minute drop-in visit includes:
- Feeding and fresh water top-up
- Toilet break (dogs) or litter tray cleaning (cats)
- Playtime, enrichment and companionship
- Medication administered if required
- Photo and video updates sent to your WhatsApp
- A full home safety check before we leave (doors and windows closed, no hazards left out, food put away, water topped up)
You’ll always know exactly what happened during the visit.
Q3: How is a drop-in visit different from a dog walk?
A drop-in visit focuses on at-home care, feeding, companionship, toilet breaks and play inside the home. A dog walk is dedicated outdoor exercise, usually 30 to 90 minutes, designed to burn energy and provide mental stimulation outside.
Drop-ins include some play but don’t replace a proper walk. For high-energy dogs, our Drop-In + Dog Walking package combines both — in-home care plus a structured walk — for the best of both worlds.
As a precaution, we leave a gap between feeding and walking. Our standard practice is to wait at least 1 hour after a meal before walking, and around 30 minutes after a walk before feeding — adjusted to suit your dog’s breed, age and routine, which we’ll agree at the Meet & Greet.
Q4: Are drop-in visits suitable for cats?
Yes! drop-ins are ideal for cats. Most cats find boarding or catteries stressful because they’re highly territorial. Staying in their own home with familiar smells, sights and routine keeps them calm and happy.
We’ll feed them, refresh their water, clean the litter tray, check they’re well, and give them as much (or as little) attention as they want. We also care for rabbits, guinea pigs, house birds and other small pets, just let us know what you have.
Q5: Are drop-in visits suitable for puppies, senior dogs or anxious pets?
Absolutely. Drop-in visits are especially valuable for:
- Puppies who can’t be left for long and need toilet breaks, feeding and gentle socialisation
- Senior dogs who need a midday check-in, medication or extra companionship
- Nervous or anxious dogs who feel safest at home with someone they’ve already met
- Cats with medical needs requiring daily medication or monitoring
You’ll always have the same trusted team caring for your pet, no rotating sitters. We meet your pet at a free Meet & Greet first so they know exactly who to expect.
Q6: Can drop-in visits help anxious or shy cats?
Yes, and we’re very patient with shy cats. It’s completely normal for some cats to hide during the first visit or two — we’d never force interaction. We focus on calm presence, quiet reassurance and keeping their routine consistent. Most cats warm up over a few visits and start coming to greet us by the end of the week.
Q7: Can drop-in visits help my dog cope with being left alone?
Drop-ins can be a great support, but they work best when your dog is already comfortable being alone for short periods. Building independence is something that needs gradual training first.
Once that foundation is in place, we can schedule up to 4 visits a day so your dog is never alone for longer than they can comfortably manage. The consistency, routine and reassurance go a long way in supporting separation training.
Q8: How long can my dog be left alone between visits?
The RSPCA advises that adult dogs shouldn’t be regularly left alone for more than around 4 hours at a time. Puppies, senior dogs and dogs with anxiety often need more frequent visits. Cats are more independent but still benefit from at least one daily check-in for fresh food, water, litter care and a bit of company.
Depending on availability, we can arrange up to 4 visits per day across SW, West and Central London.
Q9: How much do drop-in visits cost in London?
Our drop-in visit prices in Wimbledon and across SW, West and Central London are:
- Single 60-minute visit: £30
- Monthly Pack (5 visits): £140
- Monthly Pack (8 visits): £220
- Drop-in + 30-min walk: £45 (one-off) or £175 for 4 visits & walks

We’re based in Wimbledon Park (SW19) and cover pet sitting and drop-in visits across:

Q11: Are you insured, trained and DBS checked?
Absolutely! We’re fully insured with Pet Business Insurance and DBS checked, giving you complete peace of mind whenever we’re in your home. Our team holds a Certificate in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh and has completed First Aid for Dogs training. We’re also continuously enrolling in further courses — animal welfare science evolves, and we want every pet in our care to benefit from the most current best practice.
Q12: How do you access my home? Do you take a key?
We agree key handover at the free Meet & Greet — most clients give us a spare key, use a key safe, or share a smart-lock code. Keys are stored securely, labelled with a code (never your name or address), and kept separate from any identifying information. We also confirm your alarm code, parking notes and any access quirks before the first visit.
Q13: What’s your cancellation policy?
We understand life can be unpredictable, so where possible we’d always recommend rescheduling rather than cancelling, it’s the easiest option for everyone and means your pet doesn’t miss out.
If you do need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible in writing. In short:
- Standard bookings: at least 7 days’ written notice
- Peak period and advance bookings (boarding/holiday care booked 3+ months ahead, school holidays, bank holidays, festive periods): at least 15 days’ written notice
- A 30% non-refundable booking fee applies to all bookings — this covers admin, holding the reserved time slot and turning down other enquiries
- Cancellations outside the required notice period are charged in full, as the dates were reserved exclusively for your pet
- Bookings shortened after they’ve started remain payable in full
Full details are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Q15: How do I book my first drop-in visit??
Easy — every booking starts with a free Meet & Greet at South Park Gardens (or your home, if you’d prefer). It’s how we get to know your pet, learn their routine and answer any questions you have before you commit to anything.
